My Life
I don’t like to talk about myself, and at the moment I am extremely tired and frustrated…but, here it goes.
Currently, my life boils down to work, school, and church life. I am currently enduring clinical rotations in Tallahassee, FL 5 days a week for Clinical/Medical Lab Technology. I love the career aspect, but driving back and forth everyday is really tiring!
In my spare time, I grab my camera(currently a Nikon D5000) and escape into my own little world. Nature is constantly changing, and always beautiful so that’s why I love photographing flowers and such. When I photograph people there is always the added pressure to perform for them, whereas nature just is. I still like to photograph people though, and the added pressure to please their perspective can be a good thing! Actually, I’m looking to book sessions more often. I’m scheduled for a wedding already in June and have done engagement as well as a shoot for a friends upcoming album.
This is just where life has me at the moment, I have to constantly remind myself of that. Some parts are great, others are just frustrating.
So, on a more serious note…
My ‘religion’ is based on the foundation of my relationship with Jesus Christ. I know, I know…but, please don’t tune out just yet…
I put ‘s around religion for a reason. Christianity is, in essence, not a religion. What I really mean is that, it is not a set of rules and regulations on how to get God to like you and please him. I always thought that before I came to know Christ as not only my Savior, but as my friend also. I’ll go ahead and tell you that I don’t have a definite answer to all the tough questions in life, but what I do know matters so much more. I know that there is a God who loves me with an everlasting love, and has a wonderful plan for my life. That goes for you as well. It doesn’t matter what you’ve done or, to an extent, what you will do. His love is unconditional.
“For I know the plans[thoughts] I have for[towards] you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jer. 29:11
So, that’s me in a nutshell. No more, no less.
I hope that you’ll stay updated. Thanks for reading!
Lindsey
